Caltech Chamber Music "France Meindl Memorial" Concert with Martin Charlifour

Caltech Chamber Music, directed by Maia Jasper White, presents a special chamber music concert in memory of France Meindl on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. This performance honors the legacy of France Meindl, a longtime friend and generous supporter of Caltech Performing and Visual Arts, whose endowment continues to sustain and enrich the Institute's musical activities. The concert features Caltech's leading string players alongside soloists Martin Chalifour, Caltech Chamber Music instructor and former Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Saren Daghlian, a Caltech graduate student, in Vivaldi and Piazzolla's The Eight Seasons. This pairing offers a compelling dialogue between two composers whose distinct musical responses to the changing seasons explore themes of time, nature, and human experience across three centuries.
