Birthday Party & Documentary "Transcending Fear: The Story of Gao Zhisheng"

Amnesty International Group 22 will host a birthday party for two internationally prominent human rights lawyers. Chinese human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng has been forcefully disappeared since 2017. He will be 62-years-old on April 20. Iranian human rights lawyer Narges Mohammadi, the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize winner, will turn 54 on April 21 in detention. We will celebrate their birthdays with cake and tea followed by a documentary screening for "Transcending Fear: The Story of Gao Zhisheng".
